Hi everyone,
After an incident last night with my HSBC credit card (apparently it's been closed for months, but in the customer service rep's words, it's not their policy to notify customers of such a change by email *or* snail mail), I was fuming. I can't count how many times I've felt unfairly treated or downright mislead by them. For example, my credit statements have continued to list my full credit limit, with nothing apparently standing out at all to say the account is actually closed. And what a nasty surprise to find this out, while buying my mother something very nice for Christmas!
In my blind fury, I threw up a quick facebook group, and found this site an hour later. I'm linking to this site, but if it's allowed on the forum I wanted to advertise the group as well, for any Facebook members who care to join. Facebook seems to have become pretty big, and perhaps an anti-HSBC group with a large membership could catch some small bit of attention.
The name is "HSBC Sucks!". There's another group of the same name with a picture that shows people dancing around a campfire (which I don't understand) -- mine is the one with the NO HSBC logo.
If this kind of posting isn't allowed, I apologize and understand that it will be removed.
